Bureau Of Silly Ideas (BOSI)

+ Add to my selection

BOSi have fantastic large scale street theatre shows and an ever increasing menagerie of radio controlled semi automatic performing androids which come ALIVE before your eyes.

Sidney & Nancy - the wackiest wheely bins in the world. They love chasing spraying and taunting passers by – perfect for any outdoor event.

Gladys & Annabelle phenomenal potted plants

Eccentric large pots and plants that love to chat, dance, squirt water and shake foliage to the rhythm of life. Great for Easter!

John The riotous Road Cone

Is a speedy fellow loved by all ages and loves taking people by surprise and then for a spin.

Fred and Frank professional confessional Christmas trees.

A pair of very busy entertaining talking moving and extremely huggable Christmas trees book early to avoid seasonal disappointment!

Barry the Pour ta loo: A “real” full size festival style toilet cubical that has a life of its own! Busting to go this toilet can sit in line with the others at your site and talk to people waiting to enter before chasing them.

Denis the very scary skeleton. Fantastic for Halloween this “real” skeleton sits as a very gory exhibit that no one expects to move let alone engage in brain dead pirate conversation. Arrghh!!

Expect a moving park bench that will talk to you mid 2007!!!!!

SHOWS

Road works and Construction Sites…

BOSi are continually increasing their range of shows based around municipal works and are happy to customize their set pieces for site specific shows.

The "HOLE JOB"

Road workers deviate from the norm by dancing, flying through the air, launching road cones into the sky and summoning a civil engineering superhero in a high flying acrobatic jaw dropping farce.  Described as the “best show on the circuit” (I didn’t stop laughing……. Pax Nindi ACE)

The "HIGH JOB"

Spectacular, beautiful and funny as the “Charlie’s Angels” of municipal work are called to change a light bulb! It uses triples trapeze, web rope, acrobatics, clowning and plant machinery before ending in a firework display to answer the age old question of how many circus performers it takes to change alight bulb. (6)

It is an ideal finale show for small festivals and comes in three handy sizes.

Installations,

THE LEAK

BOSi are currently creating an interactive road work/ construction site installation featuring a fantastic water feature (10m fountain). Quickly with the aid of site style signage the watcher learns how to conduct and play with this fountain, the magic of this installation lies not only in the animation of water, but the transformation of audience into participants.

Fruit Salad

The transformation of bicycles and scrap granny wagons into giant fruit that kids love to take on parades and around festival sites, all safe and great fun.
