Coin Street and Thames Festivals

Continental Drifts have worked with the Coin Street team throughout the past 7 years on the production and programming of the summer events and the renowned Thames Festival.
Many of the events centre on different communities, a few examples are; 'Celebrating sanctuary'-, a refugee festival which had 5 music areas each featuring gypsy musicians and refugee bands, many of whom had never played on a music stage before.
'Indian summer', featuring many traditional Indian and Pakistani dancers and musicians.
'Celebrate South Africa', a 2-day event featuring many artists flown over directly from South Africa, including crafts teachers and carnival costume makers. Desmond Tutu presented the festival, which had 5 music areas alongside a large carnival parade and several crafts areas.

"It’s always a pleasure to work with Continental Drifts"
Adrian Evans- Festivals director.
